Who is Edgar Cayce?
Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945) was an American clairvoyant and psychic known as the 'Sleeping Prophet'. He could enter a self-induced trance state and deliver 'readings' covering medical diagnoses, past-life memories, and future events. He left over 14,000 documented readings in his lifetime.
Cayce's prophecies encompass earth changes (California sinking, New York destroyed), memories of Atlantean civilization, pole shifts, the course of WWII, China becoming the cradle of Christianity, Russia's spiritual role, and more. The Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), which he founded, still operates today and preserves all original reading records.
Some of Cayce's predictions have been confirmed by events, such as the 1929 stock market crash, the outbreak and end of WWII, and the founding of Israel. However, many predictions (such as California sinking and Atlantis resurfacing) remain unfulfilled. This site compiles his most significant prophecies and evaluates those whose deadlines have passed.
